Nirdhan - Digital Passbook

Nirdhan Utthan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited, “the bank for upliftment of the poor” is a

microfinance institute established in November 1998 under "The Companies Act 1997". Nepal

Rastra Bank, the Central Bank of Nepal, granted a license in April 1999 to undertake financial

activities under the Development Bank Act 1996. It started its formal operation from July 1999.

Now, operated under Bank and Financial Institutions Act 2017, Nirdhan Utthan Laghubitta

Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (NULBSL) provides microfinance services such as Loans, Deposits, Micro-

insurance and Remittance services to low income families of Nepal. NULBSL follows group

lending mechanism based on Grameen Bank, Bangladesh model as well as group lending

based on our own developed Self-Reliant Group (SRG) model through a network of 181 branch

offices spread across all the districts of Nepal.

Nirdhan is currently making big steps towards going digital and paperless, and the launch of this

application, the Digital Passbook for our members aim to bring bits of digital world at the bottom

of the pyramid. The other goals are to replace the hard copy passbook which is currently in use

throughout our network. The Digital Passbook poses endless opportunities alongside time

saving.

We currently have following features on our application which will be expanded over time.

Notice Board

This page will display the information that central or branch office want to share with its

customer. The page also contains coming center meeting date and loan and saving installment

that needs to be paid.

Saving Statement

This page will display all the saving account details like Account Number, Product

Name, Account Open Date, Fixed Collection Amount and Current Balance. Clicking on Saving

Account user can give from and to date to view Saving Detail Statement.

Loan Statement

This page will display all the loan Account details like Loan Number, Product Name,

Loan Date, Maturity Date, Loan Amount, Loan Outstanding and Over Due Amount. Clicking on

Loan Account user can give As on Date to view Loan Detail Statement.

Loan EMI

This Page will display the Loan Accounts. Clicking on Loan Account user can view

detail EMI Detail Schedule.

Profile

This Page will display customer detail profile information which includes Client Image,

Client Name, Client Address, Client Code, Center Code, Group Code, GRT Date, Citizenship

Number, Issue District, Issue Date, and Nominee Details with Husband, Father, and Father-in-

law Name.
